The problem

For the 2026 World Cup, AAW wanted a platform where their staff and their clients could predict match winners and exact scores against each other for the length of the tournament. It had to look and feel like AAW rather than like us, and it had to be ready before the football started.

What we built

The whole platform. Sign-in, fixtures and results synced from live match APIs, a scoring model that weights predictions by tournament round with a bonus for calling the exact score, running leaderboards, prizes by round, and mini quiz rounds unlocked between stages. The interface was built to their design system, not ours.

The result

Close to a thousand people used it actively — predicting, competing and checking scores daily through the tournament, across AAW's staff and their clients. It has also turned into the longest relationship this studio has: AAW have come back for other work since, and the next thing we are building for them is an automation rather than a website.

New to us?

Let us prove it first

We started in 2025, and we know that is a fair thing to weigh up. So before money changes hands, we will build you a working demo of the thing you are actually asking for. If it convinces you, we carry on. If it doesn't, you have lost a week of our time and none of yours.
